The Family

Dear Dotty,

I have got a problem. Last year, I married a forty-year-old lady with a twenty-year old daugther.
My father fell in love with the daughter and married her. Is he my son-in-law now?
And his is wife (my step-daughter) my mother now?
When my wife had our baby last month, he was my son and my uncle, I think (because he is the brother of my step-mother!).
My father's wife had a baby, too, and he must be my brother and my grandson, I think.

But who am I?

I am my wife's husband, of course, but I am also her grandson (because I am also the son of her son-in-law!). My wife is my grandmother (because she is the mother of my step-mother!). And if my grandmother's husband is my grandfather, I am MY OWN GRANDFATHER!!!

That is scaring me

I had already read something like that.

It was a spanish guy who used this kind of speech to explain that he was: his father, his son and himself... and there is a law that says that 3 generations of same family can´t make the militar service at once.

Militar directives answered he was free of militar service... because of crazyness ^^.
